Web Hosting - Linux: Logging in to the Linux cPanel web interface

Aim of this article

This article demonstrates how to log on to the cPanel Web interface. Your default login details may be found in the Customer Portal, for help finding them see our cPanel Technical Details guide.

Logging on

There are two URL's you can enter into the address bar of your browser to bring up the logon prompt. Typically this will be the domain zen has assigned you such as the domain.

Enter your domain name into the address bar and type /cpanel after your domain name and press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard.

(Please note that in order to access the cPanel web interface will need to open port 2083 & 2082 on your firewall.)

You will now be presented with a login prompt. Enter the User name and Password supplied by Zen for your cPanel service then click OK.

In the event you click cancel, or the logon prompt is not as shown, the above login interface will be displayed, you will need to enter your cPanel Username and Password and click Login.

You will now have logged into your cPanel Web interface and can begin configuring your Web site.
